Deepika Padukone At JNU: Swara Bhasker, Anurag Kashyap, Others Laud The Actor; Call Her Stronger Than Men
This evening, Deepika Padukone who is in Delhi to promote her Chhapaak, took part in the demonstration against the violence that took place in JNU. She was there to extend her support to the students who are demanding justice. She received praises from all corners
For long, debate has been on over the silence of Bollywood celebrities on the issues concerning the nation. This time, people bashed Bollywood stars for keeping mum on the violence that took place in the JNU campus two nights ago. However, Deepika Padukone has called for accolades as she took part in the demonstration of students protesting against the attack. Deepika who is in Delhi to promote her film Chhapaak made sure to take part in the protest and stand by the students.
Pictures and videos of Deepika standing by Aishe Ghosh, President Of JNU Students Union who was badly injured as Jai Hind slogans being chanted are all over the internet. Soon a lot of celebrities took to Twitter to praise Deepika for her stand. Swara Bhasker wrote, "#Bollywood just got JNU-ised!!!!! :) #LongLiveJNU #JNUProtests." Anurag Kashyap retweeted Deepika's pictures and put up clapping emojis. Filmmaker Anubhav Sinha wrote, "I have been saying so. Women are stronger beings. RESPECT @deepikapadukone." Kritika Kamra called Deepika a true star. Not just celebrities, even commoners are lauding her for her act and extending solidarity to the students who were badly beaten by the masked goons inside the campus of the university.

As per reports, Deepika took part in the demonstration that was happening at Sabarmati T Point. Deepika was there with her team and was seen in a black outfit. In one of the pictures, we also see her talking to Aishe Ghosh with folded hands. Truly, Deepika Padukone deserves all the accolades.
